Life Expectancy Projections

LIFE PROJECTIONS will then indicate probability of survival based on available medical research and life expectancy tables used by the insurance industry. We will call you to discuss our findings and survival projection prior to mailing the written report.

WE also require an authorization signed by the client allowing LIFE PROJECTIONS to have access to their medial records.

REVIEW of medical records and determination of life expectancy is completed within 3 business days of receipt of medical information. Complete copies of physician’s notes, lab reports, and diagnostic studies are required for evaluation.

Other service times will be determined by scope of project and client’s needs.

TERENCE E. SAVAGE has spent twenty five years in various underwriting capacities with the CNA Insurance Companies. In 1994, he was named to the Board of Directors of Viaticus Inc., a new subsidiary of CNA. He retired from CNA in 1995 to establish his own consulting firm.

SHORTLY after his retirement from CNA, he was asked to join Viaticus as their Chief Underwriter. Nationally, Mr. Savage has given presentations on viatical and older-age underwriting to several industry organizations including The American Academy of Insurance Medicine and The Actuary Club of the Southwest.

ALTOGETHER, Mr. Savage has acquired over thirty years experience in underwriting impaired risk in both direct marketing and reinsurance. Six of those years were spent underwriting applicants with chronic and terminal illnesses, as well as older-age clients with life expectancies from a couple of months to several years.

MR. SAVAGE’S professional designations include FLMI, HIA, ACS, and ARA.
