TERENCE E. SAVAGE has spent twenty five years in various underwriting capacities with the CNA Insurance Companies. In 1994, he was named to the Board of Directors of Viaticus Inc., a new subsidiary of CNA. He retired from CNA in 1995 to establish his own consulting firm.

SHORTLY after his retirement from CNA, he was asked to join Viaticus as their Chief Underwriter. Nationally, Mr. Savage has given presentations on viatical and older-age underwriting to several industry organizations including The American Academy of Insurance Medicine and The Actuary Club of the Southwest.

ALTOGETHER, Mr. Savage has acquired over thirty years experience in underwriting impaired risk in both direct marketing and reinsurance. Six of those years were spent underwriting applicants with chronic and terminal illnesses, as well as older-age clients with life expectancies from a couple of months to several years.

MR. SAVAGE'S professional designations include FLMI, HIA, ACS, and ARA.
